Valentine's Day Quest

Valentine's Day Quest

Valentine’s day coincided with my wedding anniversary. This year’s celebration was quite different since me and my husband got to spend heart’s day with people whom we surprised with flower deliveries from their special someone and loved ones.

We started early despite a series of sleepless nights of preparing and creating floral arrangements. For florists, Valentine’s day is probably the busiest holiday next to Mother's day. Although I’m quite tired, I was more excited and thrilled—it’s our first time to deliver flowers on Valentine’s day, since becoming a Dallas florist for Bloom Nation.

It’s also exhilarating to deliver love and happiness through our blooms and catching candid moments and seeing the recipients’ different reactions, facial expressions from shock to giddiness, gratefulness, and joy.

It’s such a fulfillment for me as a florist to see the smiles and happiness of my customers. In one of our deliveries, the lady was truly surprised and even commented on how the blooms match her pink shirt. My only regret was missing the chance to meet and deliver our flowers personally to one of our previous customers. This was the second time we missed this special lady because before she was confined in a hospital before. Her daughter wanted to surprise her with blooms.

We’re grateful for our customers for their patronage and to the Lord for this unique experience. The bible verse that perfectly captures the essence of this holiday is we love because He loved us first.
