Plum’s narrative or my journey in the floral industry was featured as one of the inspiring stories in Dallas Voyage magazine last month. It tackled how I began in this business, my current challenges as a florist who moved to Dallas from another country, starting back to zero, and setting up her online floral studio. I have to admit it’s no easy feat but I have to start somewhere and get my foot in the door. I always believe in following your dreams no matter what the odds are and just praying for guidance to the Lord.
I also shared in this article, how grateful I am for my husband and kids who are supportive in this endeavor and providing all the help I need. I guess that’s one of the many things that sets apart Plum from other flower shops in the DFW metroplex. Our floral studio is a love project where every member in the family contributes their talent and time in making things happened for Plum.
